Watercolor Techniques with Gayle Weisfield

A part of the Menucha Expressions Series, A Ministry for Older Adults

Through a series of fun and surprising exercises designed to loosen up your artistic creativity, you will study a variety of different painting topics while focusing on the four primary techniques used in landscape watercolor painting. Together we will discover colors and hues and talk about mixing pigments. We will discuss composition and which rules to break, the important lines in perspective, and how to design large interesting shapes. We’ll keep a journal of our progress and learn how to record a special moment in time for painting later.

Using Gayle’s innovative Watercolor Sketchbook Journaling methods in conjunction with daily lectures, demonstrations, and one-on-one inspirational instruction, you will create at least one beautiful painting every day. Along with having a wonderful painting experience, you will develop a greater appreciation for the art of watercolor and the nature that inspires it. Any level artist from first time to advanced students welcome. Join us! Let your inner artist out!
